KRIS DE PLECKER

Kris De Plecker’s working method consists of hunting, gathering, deconstructing and putting back together in assemblages, photo montages, drawings and collages. Never arbitrary these constructed art works can be regarded as studies of colour, landscape and shape. They encompass a sense of history and the past: they are nostalgic in a non-sentimental way and aesthetic in an almost classic fashion.
